 Manage your profile
=====================

Manage your profile, password, passkeys, two-factor authentication, and browser sessions. Learn how to request account deletion.

 Updated September 9, 2026

Your personal settings live under your avatar in the top-right corner. Choose **Settings**. They're yours alone and follow you across every workspace you belong to.

[](#profile-information "Permalink")Profile information
-------------------------------------------------------

Upload a profile photo (crop it in the editor, or **Remove photo** to go back to initials), and change your name or email. Changing the email sends a verification link to the new address. The change applies once you confirm it.

**Timezone** decides how every date and time in the app reads for you. Teammates keep their own setting, so each of you sees the same record in your own local time.

[](#password "Permalink")Password
---------------------------------

Open the **Security** tab for your password, passkeys, two-factor authentication, and browser sessions.

Enter and confirm your new password, then choose **Save**. Confirm your identity with a passkey, password, or linked provider. Accounts without a password show **Set Password** in the same section.

[](#passkeys "Permalink")Passkeys
---------------------------------

A passkey signs you in with Face ID, Touch ID, or your device's screen lock instead of a password. **Passkeys** lists the ones on your account, when each was added, and when it was last used.

**Add passkey** confirms it's you, then hands over to your browser or password manager to create the key. Relaticle names it after the authenticator it recognises. Use **Rename** if you'd rather label it by device. **Remove** takes a passkey out of your account; that device can no longer sign you in. Relaticle keeps your last sign-in method. Add another passkey or set a password before removing it.

Next time you sign in, type your email and the passkey prompt appears on its own. On a device that already holds one, the email field offers it as you click into it.

[](#confirming-its-you "Permalink")Confirming it's you
------------------------------------------------------

Sensitive changes ask you to confirm your identity with a passkey or password. A passkey confirms your identity with your fingerprint, face, or device PIN. If you use a password and have two-factor authentication enabled, also enter an authenticator code.

If you only sign in with Google or Microsoft, confirm through that provider. You also enter an authenticator code if you have two-factor authentication enabled.

[](#two-factor-authentication "Permalink")Two-factor authentication
-------------------------------------------------------------------

In **Security**, choose **Turn on** under **Two-factor authentication**. Confirm your identity, scan the code with your authenticator app, and enter its six-digit code. Save your recovery codes before closing the setup modal.

Signing in with a passkey satisfies two-factor authentication without an extra authenticator code. Signing in with a password, Google, or Microsoft still requires an authenticator code. Use a recovery code if you cannot access your authenticator app.

[](#browser-sessions "Permalink")Browser sessions
-------------------------------------------------

**Browser Sessions** lists everywhere you're signed in: device, browser, and last activity. **Log Out Other Browser Sessions** signs out every device except the one you're using; do this whenever you've used a shared machine.

[](#notifications "Permalink")Notifications
-------------------------------------------

The **Notifications** page beside your profile settings controls task assignment alerts and the daily digest, described in [Work with tasks](/help/tasks-and-notes/work-with-tasks).

[](#deleting-your-account "Permalink")Deleting your account
-----------------------------------------------------------

To request account deletion, email privacy@relaticle.com or [contact us](/contact). For a self-hosted installation, contact the person who manages it.

If **Delete Account** is available at the bottom of **Profile**, you can schedule deletion there. Type your account email and confirm your identity. Deletion is scheduled **30 days out**. Sign in during those 30 days and choose **Keep my account** to cancel. After the grace period, your account and personal data are removed permanently. Records in shared workspaces remain.

Before scheduling deletion, remove other members from workspaces you own, or delete those workspaces.
