Use the task board

A kanban view of your tasks. One column per status, drag to update, with priority and due-date badges.

Updated August 13, 2026

The task board is the same tasks as the list, laid out as a kanban: one column per status, a card per task. Click Board in the List / Board switcher next to the Tasks heading to open it.

Reading the board

Each card shows the task's title, a snippet of its description, a flag badge for Priority, a Due Date badge that turns into "Due Today", "Due Tomorrow", or "(Overdue)" as the date approaches, and the assignees' avatars.

Filter the whole board by Assignee to see one person's plate.

Working the board

  • Drag a card to another column to change its status. The change saves as it lands.
  • Add a task in place with the + button at the top of any column; the status is pre-set to that column.
  • Edit or delete a card from the menu on the card itself.

The columns are yours

Columns mirror the task Status field's options: To do, In progress, and Done out of the box. A workspace owner can rename them, add more, or reorder them on the Custom Fields page, and the board follows: edit the options in a select field.
