 People records 
================

Contacts with unique emails, phone, job title, and a company link — created standalone or from the account.

 A person is a contact: their emails, phone, role, and the company they belong to. Add people from the **People** list, from a company's **People** tab, or in bulk [by import](/help/import/what-each-record-type-needs).

- **Name** — required.
- **Company** — the account they belong to. If the company doesn't exist yet, click **Create Company** right inside the select and it's created and linked in one step.
- **Emails** — one or more addresses, unique across people, which is what import matching and duplicate prevention key on.
- **Phone Number**, **Job Title**, **LinkedIn** — the usual contact card.
- Plus your workspace's custom fields for people.

A person's page shows their details with the company as a link — click through to the account any time. Two working tabs, **Tasks** and **Notes**, create records pre-linked to this person, and **Activity log** shows the change history.

In the **People** list the company column links to the account too, so you can move between a contact and their company from anywhere.
